About the Role 

The CDL Class “A” Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation and delivery of materials and heavy equipment to various job sites. This position involves operating and maintaining a Peterbilt Triaxle and other equipment while adhering to safety protocols and demonstrating professionalism. 

Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and reliability in transportation services. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate a Peterbilt Triaxle to transport materials and equipment. 

• Load and unload materials and equipment at Shearon facilities and job sites. 

• Use loaders to facilitate truck loading processes. 

• Adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations during transport. 

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the truck. 

• Handle plants, trees, and construction materials with care to ensure proper transport and delivery. 

• Collaborate with team members to meet project schedules and goals. 

• Maintain accurate mileage/fuel logs and daily pre-trip inspection records. 

What We Are Looking For 

Qualifications 

• At least 1 year of experience with a Class A CDL. 

• A clean driving record. 

• Proficiency in operating dump trucks and loaders. 

• Experience with loading/unloading techniques for materials, excavators, and backhoes. 

• Familiarity with transportation safety protocols. 

• Must be at least 21 years old.
