CDL Class A Driving Instructor (Full-Time)

Description

This position will have the following primary responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences 
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Prepare truck driving range for class and instruction 
• Observe and elevate trainee’s performance and development 
• Maintain accurate and complete records of trainee’s progress and development during the program 
• Provide certain pastoral duties including but not limited to: student support, counseling students and providing student encouragement, mentorship within the trucking industry
• Oversee equipment maintenance with VP of Operations – perform light maintenance when needed, and schedule maintenance as needed for repairs 
• Implement the hands-on training of the CNS CDL curriculum
• Keep up to date in industry regulations, compliance, and continuing education/professional development opportunities to ensure a high-quality program
• On-Site travel, as needed, to clients for contracted training

This position will have the following support role responsibilities:

• Cross training as offered within the family of companies
• Classroom traning as needed

Education Requirements

The position requires the following to qualify candidates:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class “A” Unrestricted CDL License 
• Current DOT medical examination and valid medical card
