CDL Class A Truck Driver

Studco currently has an opening for a flatbed driver to deliver building products to its customers. 

Studco designs, develops, and manufactures quality steel framing systems, architectural finishing sections and sound isolation clips for the building and construction industry.

Since opening our first factory in 1986 as a steel stud roll-former in Melbourne, Australia, Studco has developed into a global manufacturer of premium building systems for commercial and residential construction. Today Studco is located in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, including a local manufacturing plant in Rochester, NY; our warehouses are fully stocked and ready to supply your project.

Compensation model is mileage based, and depending on experience is starting at an estimated $60,000 a year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF TRUCK DRIVERS:

• Operate a Flatbed Class A truck/trailer through all types of environments


• Deliver loaded trailer to regional customers, securing a backhaul on the return trip when available


• HOME EVERY WEEKEND


• No touch freight


• Automatic transmission freightliner tractors


• 48 foot flat step deck


• Perform pre and post trip inspections as required by company and federal regulations.


• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.


• Understand and adhere to regulations regarding load securement.


• Pick up backhauls when secured, coil endorsement required


• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements for Truck Drivers:

• Class A License


• Coil Endorsement ( Can be obtained upon hire)


• No Accidents


• No Moving violations


• Flatbed experience preferred
