CDL Class A Truck Driver (LABOR REQUIRED)

W.A. Petrakis Contracting operates across Western Pennsylvania and continues to grow. Services include installation of sewer/water & gas lines, directional drilling, hydro-vac excavating, pump stations & milling/paving restoration.

W.A. Petrakis Contracting is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A Truck Driver & Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, as well as the ability to work in various construction environments.

• Drive Manual transmission triaxle and Tandem dump trucks
• Possess a Class A CDL license
• Basic labor duties (shovel/hand dig, broom the road)
• Move equipment from jobsite to jobsite
• Work with a crew of employees from 7am-5pm Mon-Fri
• Help install gas pipe safely and efficiently with the crew
• Operate equipment necessary to load and unload material/ equipment
• Must have a valid PA Commercial Drivers License & Clean DMV Record
• Be willing to submit to random on-site drug testing.
• Must be Responsible and consistent with room for growth and training in the construction industry.
• Must be willing to help where needed.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs (lights, mud flaps, etc)
• Fuse HDPE pipe
• Shoot moles for services

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
