Job Description - CDL Delivery Truck Driver & Shop Assistant

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia, In-Person Position

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Delivery Truck Driver & Shop Assistant to help keep our projects running smoothly. If you take pride in your work and value safety, teamwork, and professionalism, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Safely deliver materials and equipment to job sites
Keep loading, unloading, and routing efficient
Help maintain the shop and yard
Operate construction equipment safely, including skid steer, off-road forklift, and mini excavator, and various other construction equipment
Secure loads properly for transport
Follow all safety protocols

What We’re Looking For

Strong work ethic and punctuality
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience securing loads safely
Ability to lift 75 lbs and navigate job sites

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Virginia CDL with a clean driving record
Can drive a manual transmission vehicle
Background check and drug test required
Familiar with road network throughout Charlottesville area
Commercial construction experience preferred
