Job Summary

Responsible for transporting materials, ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe delivery of merchandise to job sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently transport materials to and from job locations in accordance with laws
• Inspect truck  for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, off-road, and tight loading docks or yards.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Promptly file written report of any accident or incident involving driver or company equipment to company office after initial telephone or personal report.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a clean Class “A” or Class “B” driver’s license
• must have held CDL license for a minimum of 2 years 
• experience required
• Must be able to report to the shop in Wildwood.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, head & humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
