CDL Driver

The CDL Driver will safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment and power tools to perform a series of skilled/manual activities and tasks and/or to transport materials, personnel, and supplies to complete work assignments. Class A CDL is required, experience with bobtail box trucks and 3-axel gooseneck trailers is a plus. 

Requirements

• Support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes
• Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders.
• Perform daily detailed inspection of vehicle to ensure general maintenance and safety of vehicle.
• Perform all duties as member of receiving team including Administrative duties
• Relieve Forklift Driver during breaks and lunch
• Feed Production Lines
• Keep work areas clean including housekeeping of receiving docks internal and external
• Safe working attitude at all times
• Monthly inventory of raw materials
• Keep inventory and rows organized

Qualifications & Experience

• Current Class A - Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Required
• Clean Driving Record Required
• Experience with bobtail box trucks and 3-axel gooseneck trailers is a plus. 
• 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift and be certified by IP
• Must be able to perform daily inspection on Forklift
• Must have a working knowledge of how to effectively manipulate load to maximize trailer space
• Must have Computer Skills
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
• Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas
