POSITION OVERVIEW

The CDL Driver is charged with professionally transporting customer vehicles for the Service Department or delivering a truck in or out of state as directed by the Sales Department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver trucks and buses to various aftermarket companies and body companies to have aftermarket products and bodies installed.


• Help salespeople deliver new trucks to the customer.


• Speak professionally to customers regarding their vehicles.


• Responsible for delivering documentation to customers for signature.


• Deliver customer’s vehicles when the service department has performed service on the vehicle.


• Maintain professional appearance.


• Inspect each vehicle to be transported and document any damage noting on the repair order.


• Other duties as assigned.

• Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes, cramped spaces, loud noises, chemicals and fumes, dust, heights or work safety hazards


• Normal amount of overtime or extended work hours required

Physical Effort

• Normal physical mobility, which includes movement from place to place on the job taking distance and speed into account


• Normal physical agility, which includes ability to maneuver body while in place


• Normal physical strength to handle routine materials and tools


• Normal physical strength to handle 50-pound object, taking frequency into consideration


• Normal dexterity of hands and finger

Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a pre-hire drug and alcohol test.
