CDL Driver

### Position Summary\n\nThe CDL Driver is responsible for performing daily local supplier pickups and returning materials to the factory the same day to support manufacturing and production needs. This role is critical to ensuring on-time material flow, minimizing production delays, and supporting overall operational efficiency. Routes are local and predictable, allowing drivers to be home daily.\n\n### Essential Duties and Responsibilities\n\n * Perform daily scheduled and on-demand pickups from local suppliers within the local area.\n * Safely transport raw materials, components, or finished goods back to the factory on the same day to meet production requirements.\n * Ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed on time and accurately according to dispatch instructions.\n * Load and unload freight as required, using pallet jacks, lift gates, or other material-handling equipment.\n * Verify shipment contents against paperwork (BOLs, packing slips, etc.) and report discrepancies.\n * Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and local/state traffic laws.\n * Conduct pre\u2011trip and post\u2011trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.\n * Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery documentation, and required checklists.\n * Communicate effectively with dispatch, logistics coordinators, and warehouse/manufacturing teams regarding timing, delays, or changes.\n * Support production priorities by responding to urgent or last\u2011minute pickup requests when needed.\n * Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle at all times.\n\n\n\n### Qualifications\n\n * Valid CDL (Class A or B)\n * Current Medical Card in accordance with DOT requirements.\n * Previous experience performing local pickup and delivery preferred.\n * Familiarity with manufacturing or production\u2011support environments is a plus.\n * Ability to operate material\u2011handling equipment safely.\n * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.\n * Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to meet same\u2011day pickup requirements.\n\n\n\n### Physical Requirements\n\n * Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.\n * Ability to lift, push, or pull up to company\u2011specified weight limits.\n * Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs and trailers as required.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nAssociate\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n4 - 7 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n40-Day Swing (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nNo\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$27.50 - $37.40\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
