Position: CDL Driver and Rigger NOTE: This job is based out of Germantown, WI. Employment Type: Full Time with opportunities for overtime.
Great Lakes Roofing Corp. (GLRC) is immediately hiring a CDL Driver and Rigger to join the Crew in Germantown, WI. You’ll play a vital role in every roofing project by driving materials and equipment to job sites around Wisconsin. Your driving responsibilities combined with rigging and some material handling create a diverse, hands-on work experience.
CDL Driver and Rigger Responsibilities: - Drive the loaded trucks to job sites and unload the materials - Assist with signaling to load supplies onto roofs - Work outside in all weather conditions in support of company objectives - Handle a forklift safely indoors and in the yard - Load flat beds with materials and equipment, secure the loads, etc. - Assist warehouse staff with material handling and inventory duties on shop days - Assist with workplace cleaning as necessary - Participate in training as assigned - Provide quality service to our customers around Wisconsin - Learn to perform work according to company standards - Collaborate with the Crew for the benefit of all
CDL driver and Rigger Requirements: - Valid, insurable CDL license - Able to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally - Mobility to shift between forklifts, walking, stooping, driving, lifting and climbing - Confidence/ comfortable working at heights, roof-tops and ladders - Occasional overnights are necessitated due to DOT regulations
