CDL Driver / Asphalt Laborer

We are looking for an experienced CDL Driver/Asphalt Laborer.  This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an asphalt distributor/crew truck and for assisting in general labor tasks associated with the paving crew.

Key Responsibilities:

Distributor Truck Operation:

• Operate distributor truck to apply asphalt or tack coat to surfaces before paving.


• Ensure even and accurate spraying of materials using computer-controlled or manual spray bars.


• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle and equipment.


• Maintain proper levels of fluids and materials in the truck tanks.


• Clean and maintain distributor equipment and tools.


• Monitor truck gauges and controls to maintain consistent flow and distribution rates.

Laborer Duties:

• Assist paving crew with general labor tasks including raking, shoveling, sweeping, and setting up traffic control.


• Load and unload construction materials as needed.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.


• Assist in daily maintenance and clean-up of work areas and tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must possess a Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - endorsements for Tanker, Hazmat, or Distributor are preferred


• Asphalt Laborer experience


• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions


• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
