Job Description:

CDL Driver

There is an exciting opportunity awaiting you at MSK! We are seeking CDL drivers who provide for the efficient, safe transportation and delivery of anyone or more of the following: patients, visitors, staff, physicians, supplies, specimens, chemotherapy, equipment, pharmacy materials, and CPD instruments, between MSK locations including MSK regional sites. Role Overview:

• Retrieve and return the MSK vehicle to/from the designated area on a scheduled work day. May require the parking and picking up of vehicles from non-MSK parking locations within or outside of Manhattan.
• Greet passengers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
• Advise patients/family members requiring transportation services of various routes and buildings that are serviced.
• Enter transports into the tracking application.
• Complete designated rounds for collection or drop off of materials and specimens throughout the shift as required by departmental volume and/or schedule. Stop at each designated pick-up location as per departmental procedure. Complete specimen log at all pick-up locations.
• Sanitize high-touch areas throughout the day.
• Inspect the vehicle before removing it from the garage.
• Ensure DOT-registered vehicles meet all DOT requirements including Toxicology screening.

Key Qualifications:

• Class C Commercial Driver’s License w/Passenger Endorsement
• Defensive Driving Training is helpful
• Medical Examiner's Certification

Additional Information:

• Location: MSK's Main Campus Hospital, 1275 York Ave., in NYC.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
• Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Transportation

Pay Range: $23.03-$34.67
