CDL Driver, Swing Cab Boom Truck Operator

Intermediate level driver position experienced operating heavy construction equipment in a safe manner. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.


• Operate Boom Trucks, Roll Back Trucks, and Semi with Low Boy Trailer


• Follow and complete equipment inspection forms
  


• Must adhere to company, job site safety according to Safety Manager, Superintendent, Supervisor or Foreman


• Strictly follow traffic law requirements
  


• Work independently or with management to get assignments 


• Responsible for hauling equipment efficiently and in a safe manner
  


• Required to do pre and post trip inspections to prevent any problems while traveling
  


• Plan and organize route efficiently
  


• Keep an accurate logbook


• Works under direct supervision. Follows detailed instructions and reports any deviation to lead/supervisor. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position requires working on construction job sites in extreme temperatures. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and use hand tools associated with the construction industry. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods, walk, sit, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms, hear, and talk.
