CDL Driver - Troutdale OR

We are seeking a experienced solo driver for a dedicated intermodal position based out of Troutdale, OR. This role requires a minimum of 3 months of experience.

Position Details

You must live within 50 miles of the 97060 ZIP code. This is a night shift position, with schedules of either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. Weekend work is required, as well as working holidays as directed by leadership. This position is not open to trainees or teams.

Lanes include delivering Walmart freight to Hermiston, OR, and local freight in the Portland and Salem areas. Crossing into Washington is a requirement. A significant portion of the work is drop-and-hook, and 90% of the loads are under 50 miles.

A HAZMAT endorsement is required for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on a $0.65 per mile rate. A short-haul flat rate of $40 is paid for loads between 1 and 50 miles, which can earn drivers an extra $800 to $1,000 per week. The average weekly earnings are estimated to be between $1,400 and $1,800, with a weekly mileage of 1,000 to 1,500 miles.

A $3,000 bonus is offered, paid in increments of $500 for every 50 customer deliveries and/or pickups. There is no transition bonus.
