CDL Driver | Yard Truck | Hostler

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable CDL Driver | Yard Truck | Hostler to join our Shipping & Receiving team. As a Yard Truck | Hostler Driver, you are responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently between building locations and accurately reporting those moves in the system. This position is required to hold a current and valid CDL.

Responsibilities:

• Move trailers within the yard, between dock doors, and to different building locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain high level of communication with dispatch, yard personnel, and supervisors.
• Accurately and efficiently document moves in the AS400 system.
• Recognize and adhere to best practices for safety.
• Other functions and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid CDL.
• Attention to detail required.
• Prior experience in a Yard Truck / Hostler Truck position required.
• Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to get in and out of trucks throughout the entire shift.
• Safety and quality focused.
• Must be dependable.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision required.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
