The Oil Hauler is responsible for hauling asphalt concrete from one destination to another utilizing a tanker and semi-trailer. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to driving, hauling, hook-up, loading and unloading oil, maintaining the tanker and trailer, scheduling service, and logging time and miles.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.


• Class A Commercial Driver's License without restrictions and tanker endorsement is required.


• A clean driving record is required.


• A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required.


• Must be at least 23-years of age.


• Prior over the road driving experience is required.


• Experience keeping driving logs are preferred.


• Experience in oil hauling is beneficial.


• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and adhere to subjected to random tests for the duration of employment is required.


• Drivers must have hazmat endorsement.


• A valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under the Company's automobile insurance is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the tanker and semi-trailer to make deliveries timely.


• Load and unload the tank at designated destinations.


• Check the truck and tanker frequently to ensure that mechanical, safety, and equipment is in good working order.


• Maintain logs of working and driving hours.


• Record vehicle service and repair activities.


• Ensure that the oil is secure for transport.


• Adhere to the supplier and vendor loading and unloading regulations.


• Fuel the semi/ trailer truck as needed.


• Perform pre-trip inspections on equipment and daily maintenance as necessary.


• Provide a high level of customer service to suppliers and vendors.


• Follow appropriate company safety procedures for transporting.


• Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
