Responsibilities as a CDL Examiner:

• Administer Comprehensive Exams: Evaluate students’ Pre-Trip, Yard Skills, and Road Driving abilities
• Emphasize Safety: Reinforce safety concepts, principles, and procedures throughout all exams
• Maintain Accurate Records: Document all examinations thoroughly and in compliance with state regulations
• Provide Objective CDL A Exams: Ensure fair and professional assessments for our customers
   

• Ohio CDL Class A License: Must include tanker, school bus, and passenger endorsements
• Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience holding a CDL Class A license
• Clean Driving Record: No more than 2 driving offenses/accidents in the past 2 years, no DUI in the last 10 years, and free of any serious violations as per state guidelines
• Physical Fitness: Ability to operate a Class A motor vehicle safely and comfortably
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Extensive CDL Knowledge: In-depth understanding of CDL driving standards and practices
• Availability: Monday through Friday
• Age Requirement: Minimum age of 25
• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in web browser navigation
• Previous CDL Education Experience: Experience as a CDL instructor is a plus
