CDL Truck Driver Chance Materials, LLC.

 Chance Materials, LLC, sister company to J&H Services, Inc., is seeking a reliable and safety-oriented CDL Driver to transport ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and construction materials to customer job sites. The CDL Driver plays a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service, vehicle safety, and compliance with all DOT regulations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate ready-mix concrete trucks, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles as assigned. 
• Deliver concrete, aggregates, and construction materials to customer job sites in a timely manner. 
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required vehicle inspection reports. 
• Maintain accurate delivery tickets, driver logs, and other required documentation. 
• Monitor concrete consistency and quality during transport and delivery. 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, customers, and job site personnel. 
• Safely maneuver vehicles in construction zones, residential areas, and confined job sites. 
• Clean and maintain assigned vehicles, including daily washout procedures for mixer trucks. 
• Report vehicle maintenance concerns and equipment issues promptly. 
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. 
• Assist with plant operations and yard maintenance when delivery demands are low. 
• Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively at all times. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL required. 
• Current DOT Medical Certificate required. 
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements. 
• Previous ready-mix, aggregate, dump truck, or construction material hauling experience preferred. 
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards. 
• Ability to operate manual transmissions (if applicable). 
• Strong communication and customer service skills. 
• Dependable attendance and punctuality. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and access truck components safely. 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. 
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. 
• Ability to enter and exit commercial vehicles multiple times daily.
