CDL Truck Driver - Electrical Department

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organize over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

As a driver for the Electrical Department, your main responsibility will be the transportation, loading, and unloading of electrical equipment for events. In this role, you will drive to and from the warehouse and various event locations, handling the equipment and collaborating with the electricians. You will operate either a service van or a 28-foot box truck, and a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is required. 

Additionally, you will assist in the warehouse by ensuring that equipment is stored safely and kept organized. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. However, you may be required to work overtime and on weekends during events. We host 12 events each year, and this number is expected to grow.

This role is based in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office

Other duties will include:

• Maintaining electrical equipment and cables. (Training will be provided)
• Maintaining of warehouse facility and department area.
• Assisting with Logistics and routing.
• Must be willing to possibly work out of town.

• Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
• Minimum 1-4 years driving trucks and tractor trailers.
• Forklift experience preferred
• Problem Solving experience
• Team Player

The pay range for this role is $18.00 — $21.00 based on experince
