Job Description - CDL-A Driver

Class A drivers around Savannah: $1,600 a week, freight you never touch, and home time you pick.

Experienced drivers ask the same few questions before they apply. Here are the straight answers.

What does it pay?

  • $1,600 a week
  • $0.49 to $0.60 a mile, set by your experience
  • Loyalty pay after 12 months
  • $7,500 sign-on bonus (eligibility terms apply)
  • Detention: $12.50 an hour after 2 hours
  • Layover or breakdown: $100 a day
  • Weekly direct deposit

Will I have to unload?

No. The freight is 100% no-touch.

Where will I run?

OTR lanes in all 48 states, with most freight east of I-35. About 2,000 miles a week, planned ahead, with day and night dispatch.

When am I home?

You decide. Drivers who want the most miles usually run about 12 days out and 2 days home. Want it different? Tell your planner.

What will I drive?

An assigned 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth, with 24/7 dispatch behind you.

Do I qualify?

  • Class A CDL from your state of residence; 21 or older
  • Recent, verifiable CDL-A over-the-road experience
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
  • No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years
  • DOT physical and a hair and urine drug screen
