Pay & Miles

• Pay $73,000 to $85,000 yearly

• Average Miles: 1,175 per week

• Safety Bonus: Up to $1,000 per year

Schedule

• Days: Tuesday – Saturday

• Start Time: 4:00 PM

• Hours: About 50 hours per week (5 days, ~10 hours/day)

• Extra days may be available for drivers who want additional work.

Freight Details

• Intermodal containers on chassis (100% container freight)

• 50% drop & hook / 50% live loads

• About 5% refrigerated freight

• Some loads may contain alcohol or pork

Equipment

• Day cabs (average fleet age: 2.5 years)

• Mostly automatic Freightliners with safety technology

• Slip seating may be required

• Trucks must remain smoke-free

• Exception pay for detention, breakdowns, rail delays, empty moves, and more

• New hires: 12 days per year

• 1+ year: 16 days

• 19+ years: 26 days
