CDL-A Driver – Dedicated Utility Fleet (Based near Louisville, KY)

Pay: $385/day (Full Day), $192.50/day (Half Day)

Position Overview:

Join our dedicated utility driver fleet, where you'll support various customer accounts and handle different types of deliveries across the lower 48 states. This is a flexible, account-based role with consistent pay and opportunities for additional compensation.

Key Details:

• Location: Within 150 miles of Louisville, KY

• Freight: Varies by assignment — may include live unload, drop & hook, no-touch freight, liftgate, rollers, etc.

• Equipment: Mix of straight trucks and tractors (manual & automatic), various trailer types

• APUs: 50% of trucks equipped

• Assigned Truck: Yes

• Slip Seat: No

• Pet/Rider Policy: Not allowed

• Take Truck Home: Yes

• Age Requirement: Must be 21+ with Class A CDL and 6+ months of 53' experience

Compensation & Schedule:

• Daily Pay:

  • $385 for full workday (up to 11 hours)

  • $192.50 for half day (under 6 hours)

• Holiday Pay: $80

• Vacation Pay: 1/52

• Home Time:

  • Out minimum of 3 weeks

  • 1 day off per week out

  • Return home after 21 days, typically first weekend after

Training:

• Site-Specific Training: ~1 week

• Training Pay: Same as regular daily rate

Requirements:

• CDL-A with at least 6 months of 53’ trailer experience

• TWIC, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements

  • 30-day grace period to obtain (company reimbursed)

  • Failure to obtain may result in termination

• Clean record required

  • No misdemeanors, felonies, or warrants

• Must pass background check and be open to occasional team driving (extra pay applies)
