CDL-A Recent Grads

Job Details:

• Running Area: Mostly east of the Mississippi River, occasional West Coast runs.
• Training: $650/week for 4-6 weeks; $300 paid orientation with travel, lodging, and meals covered.
• Pay:
  • Start at $0.56 CPM, average 2,500 miles/week ($1,400-$1,600/week).
  • Raises every 3-6 months, up to $0.64 CPM after 5 years.
• Freight: 100% no-touch reefer, 50% drop-and-hook.
• Home Time: 14 days on, 2 days off; take truck home.

Responsibilities:

• Operate refrigerated trucks safely on regional routes.
• Perform vehicle inspections and comply with DOT regulations.
• Demonstrate strong backing skills and night driving as needed.

Requirements:

• 120 hours from accredited trucking school.
• Valid CDL-A, clean record:
  • No DUI (10 years CDL-A, 5 years non-CDL-A).
  • Max 1 DOT-preventable loss, 3 accidents in 2 years.
  • No major accidents (5 years) or serious violations (1 year).
• Pass DOT physical, hair, and urine drug tests.
• No drug convictions (5 years), no SAP drivers, no felonies (10 years).
