CDL-A Truck Driver

Lone Tree Services is hiring CDL truck drivers for tandem, belly and side dump trucks in Greeley CO. We are in search of qualified drivers with a valid Class A CDL to operate locally from our Greeley facility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Haul dirt/ aggregate to/ from gravel pits/ locations to job sites using a belly dump tractor and trailer
• Ability to lift/ push/ Pull 50/80 pounds throughout the day
• Dump load as directed by the Operator in charge of job site
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
• Always use safe driving techniques while operating trucks and/or equipment
• Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and report any malfunctions with equipment immediately
• Perform duties in extreme weather conditions
• Always wear personal protective equipment while on location
• Review and sign Job Safety Analysis for each location or job site

All employees participate in weekly training (26 hours annually) conducted by their supervisor/leader with added daily safety meetings. Lone Tree Services assigns safety responsibilities to every manager in every location. The Safety Manager monitors compliance with the safety manual, processes, and training. Our innovative safety program has been written in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements such as OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards. We provide initial safety and orientation training reinforced with daily and weekly safety instruction and inspection. We meet or exceed recommended experience modification rates with many companies.

Employees may also be required to obtain other site-specific safety credentials as mandated by clients or regulatory authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Possess a Class A CDL or higher.  **At least three years of experience.

General Job Hazards:

• Employees are required to drive in extreme weather conditions such as heavy snow, snow packed roads, icy roads, strong winds, and any other weather conditions that could be considered hazardous.
• Employees are required to enter and exit their truck throughout the day. Injuries resulting from slips, trips, and falls could occur. 
• Employees are required to utilize the three points of contact system while entering or exiting their vehicles. 
• Hazards from other motorists. Drivers must exercise safe driving practices.
• Site specific hazards on location
