We have an immediate opening for a CDL - Class A truck driver in the Lansing, MI area, and we want you to join our team!

The typical week would be Monday to Friday doing pickups and deliveries in Lansing and surrounding areas. The normal start time may vary but will typically be between 07:00 pm and 08:00 pm daily. The ideal candidate will also be experienced on a fork lift, as duties may also include the loading and unloading of trailers on our dock in Lansing.

You can expect:

• Dock to dock
• No touch freight
• Only pull 53’ dry van trailers.
• Some full load moves but there could quite often be multiple stops on trips and multiple trips in and out of our Lansing dock on any given day
• Cover an area that is approximately a 200 mile radius around Lansing

Job requirements include:

• The safe and efficient movement of freight and equipment
• Completion of all required paperwork including logs, equipment inspections, and accident/incident reports
• Prompt communication of all updates pertaining to the load as required by the Logistics Team
• Clear communication of dispatch availability
• Communication of all maintenance concerns regarding equipment reliability, presentation, and safety
• Proactive approach to problem solving supporting the maintenance and logistics team with any information that can resolve matters more efficiently
• To ensure that all policies and procedures are supported consistently to meet ISO Standards
• The compliance of all Safety, and DOT requirements at all times, as well as all applicable laws, rules and regulations to include C-TPAT.
• Professional and courteous conduct at all times representing the company at the highest standard
• All other relevant duties as required or that may arise as the corporation evolves

• Must pass a DOT Physical Examination including drug screen at a DOT approved clinic
• Meet all licensing requirements
• Abide by all PPE requirements
• Must maintain the highest level of safety on the road, as well as in and around company and customer facilities.
• Criminal background check, Drug Screen
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Flexibility to meet customer service demands

This is a full time position starting off at $27.00 per hour.
