Position Overview
We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a regional OTR position running throughout the Eastern United States, primarily along the eastern seaboard.
This lane offers consistent freight, strong weekly miles, and a structured pay scale that rewards experience over time. Whether you're newly licensed or experienced, this position provides a clear path to steady income and long-term growth.
Drivers will operate on regional routes that stay east of the Mississippi River, minimizing cross-country uncertainty while still maintaining strong mileage.
Pay & Compensation
Average Earnings
- $1,200 – $1,400 per week
- Based on ~2,500 miles per week
Mileage Pay (All Miles Paid)
- Starting Pay: $0.55 CPM
- Pay Increases: +1 CPM for every 12 months of experience
- Top Pay: Up to $0.65 CPM
Long-term drivers benefit from one of the stronger progressive pay scales in regional OTR.
Training / Team Pay (If Applicable)
- Seat 2 / trainee pay starts around $0.29–$0.30 CPM
- Increases gradually with experience
Additional Pay
- Performance Bonus: Available (Driver Performance Bonus Plan)
- Stop Pay: $15 per stop
Home Time & Schedule
- Home Time: Every 2 weeks (with weekend time included)
- Shift Options: Day & Night shifts available
- Weekend Work: Required
- Holiday Work: As needed

Routes & Operating Area
- Runs up and down the Eastern Seaboard
- Freight stays east of the Mississippi River
- Does not travel far west, keeping routes more predictable
Hiring Area
Hiring across multiple Eastern states, including:
AL, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT, WV
Primary Hub: Syracuse, NY
Note: No hires from NYC area
- Must live within 200 miles of hiring area
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Trainees accepted (new CDL grads encouraged)
- Must meet DOT safety and background requirements
- Ability to run OTR (2 weeks out)
