Seeking CDS caregiver with reliable transportation to become companion for a Female approx. 30yrs of age, with minor behavioral concerns located in Denton MD at our woods drive Group home. Full PCP will be explained if hired.

Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm
Sunday/Monday OFF

Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

CDS Client are out and about in the community. Caregiver would be expected to travel with/for client

Responsibilities

Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing

Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises

Prepare meals and snacks

Light housekeeping activities

Dispense medication-(must be med tech certified)

Provide companionship

Assist with errands and shopping (Mileage reimbursement)

Need to participate in the community daily

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred

First aid and CPR-certified

Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal spills

MANDT training a plus

Compassionate, respectful, ethical

CMT Preferred, but not required

Compensation: $23.00 per hour
