Physical Demands:
The physical demands are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the job's essential functions successfully. The job requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting, and carrying, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Education/Experience:
90 clock hrs. in Child Development and Curriculum Planning plus 45 clock hrs of Infant/Toddler Training OR 90 clock hours in Infant/Toddler Child Development and Curriculum. AA degree (or college credit equivalent) in Early Childhood Education or higher is preferred. Additionally, nine clock hrs of communication training with staff, parents, and the public is required if the candidate has no college coursework.
MD state credential Level 5.
