Key Accountabilities

•    Has direct or indirect responsibility for all technical or specialized field personnel at location that fall in their area of expertise.
•    Determine need for specialized or high technology equipment and supplies and maintain and track inventory.
•    Oversee specialized or technical field engineer training with hands on visits to the wellsite.
•    Occasionally perform the duties of the technical or specialized field engineer in executing wellsite operations.
•    Oversee general maintenance of technical or specialized equipment and associated facilities.
•    Recognize problems and improvements needed and pass these on to the location supervisor.
•    Insure compliance by field crews and shop personnel with Company personnel policies and all governmental health, safety, and fair employment practices.
•    Approve all technology or specialized equipment financial documents for accuracy including purchase orders, service orders, and invoices.
•    Responsible for helping maintain HSE compliance at facility.
•    Submit all required reports on a timely basis.
•    Available on a 24 hours call basis to respond to Company and Client needs.
•    Assist the location supervisor in coordinating and maximizing the effectiveness of field sales.
•    Assist the location supervisor in coordinating pricing information and bids given to Customer.
•    With assistance from HR and district manager: recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers and disciplinary action for technical and specialized equipment staff.
•    Carry out work assignments to the highest quality levels.
 

Knowledge/Skills/Ability

•    Ability to effectively deal with internal personnel issues as to minimize field crew attrition.
•    Moderate computer skills including the ability to operate Sharepoint and Excel.
•        Ability to manage time to maximize results.
•    In depth knowledge of Wireline or Pumping technical operations
•    Ability to make tough business and personnel decisions.

Language Comprehension

Ability to understand and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employee to issue, receive and respond to both safety and operations-related directions in English 

Minimum Education

Bachelor's in Engineering or STEM

5+ Years of Cementing Experience
