Requirements:

Educational: One-year certificate from college or technical school.

Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience in machinery maintenance.

Pre-Employment Screening: Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Technical & Mechanical Skills:

Hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, specializing in engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical devices to resolve issues efficiently.
Familiarity with power supply wiring and conduit installation.
Skilled in utilizing metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press, and grinder.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repair of machinery to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices to identify causes of trouble.
Install, dismantle, repair, and replace defective parts of machines and equipment.
Test device performance and discuss malfunctions with the maintenance team.
Operate metalworking tools to make or repair parts as needed.
Connect power supply wires and cables between machines and equipment.
Diagnose and repair faulty electrical and electronic components.
Proactively initiate work orders based on preventive maintenance observations.
Document work completed in the CMMS "TAG Application" including root cause analysis and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless mill operation.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, you will be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical Demands:

The role requires various physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, hearing, seeing, reaching, and repetitive motions.

Salary and Benefits:

Starting pay: $22-27 per hour, based on experience.
