Central Western MA Manager of Field Ops

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field operations for high-pressure boiler systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.


• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field operators.


• Conduct routine inspections and audits of sites to ensure optimal performance and safety.


• Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow to operational goals.


• Help recruit for central and western MA opportunities.


• Assist with training and onboarding.


• Be able to assist with performance management issues.


• Work as a liaison between Field Operations and in-house office requirements such-as: scheduling, payroll, timekeeping and billing.


• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams regarding field operations.


• Support Career fair functions and manage internal Co-op program.

Qualifications

• Required:




• Massachusetts 3rd Class Engineer License (High Pressure Boiler).


• Actively pursuing 2nd Class Engineer License.


• Strong knowledge of ASME codes, OSHA standards, and Massachusetts boiler regulations MGL Chapter 146, CMR 522.




• Preferred:




• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in high-pressure boiler operations or related industrial environments.


• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in field operations.




• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.


• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas.


• Willingness to travel within Central and Western Massachusetts as needed.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on technical tasks when required.
