Division/Department: Human Services – Behavioral Health - Onsite
Location: Min No Aya Win Human Services Center - As designated
Reports To: Director of Behavioral Health 
Probationary Period: 90 days – Full time
FLSA Status: Exempt (salaried)
Classification: Child-Related CA
Driver’s License: No Driver’s License Required
Rate of Pay: $20.45 to $23.01 hourly  


Responsibilities


  • Educate, empower and guide clients through the Cereset process step-by-step.

  • Follow session procedures as outlined by Cereset Standard Procedure Guidelines.

  • Communicate with clients about their experiences, their goals, their progress, and their outcomes following Cereset coaching guidelines.

  • Clearly document all appropriate client communication as defined by communication procedures.

  • Answer client questions and inquiries about our technology and services.

  • Qualify candidates for appropriate scheduling.

  • Clean and maintain an attractive lobby.

  • Prepare session rooms pre-session.

  • Greet clients upon arrival and assist with welcome paperwork.

  • Clean session rooms post-session.

  • Operate all Cereset hardware and software components.

  • Test Cerest hardware. Some basic troubleshooting will be required.

  • Monitor sessions for reliable data and intervene when data compromise is noted.

  • Analyze session data and choose appropriate Non-Standard Protocols when appropriate (Level 2).

  • Create Orientation, Exit and Progress Reports for the client utilizing standardized notations as outlined.

  • Follow-up with past clients as outlined by the Cereset Follow-Up Procedures.

  • Appropriate/Professional work attire is required.

  • Must attend all mandatory department trainings.

  • Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees and/or clients.

  • Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.

  • Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.

  • Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.

  • Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.

  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.

  • Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.




Qualifications


  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in any field, health and wellness focus preferred.

  • Experience working with American Indian families is preferred.

  • Professional experience in a customer service position or health/wellness industry.

  • Proficient with basic PC software and operations.

  • Friendly and open demeanor with professional appearance.

  • Self directed, responsible, and effective communicator.

  • A desire and passion to support others in reaching their wellness goals.

  • Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, data bases and/or data entry, Spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook is required.

  • Knowledge of Native American communities, culture, customs, and beliefs is preferred.

  • Experience working with Native Americans clients, communities and is able to demonstrate cultural sensitivity is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.

  • Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy is required.

  • Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.

  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation’s Personnel Policies.

  • Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks.

  • Subject to immunization review and submitted proof of required vaccinations.

  • Some travel may be required.




     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Be on their feet for the majority of the work day.

  • Bend at the waist, bend at the knees, crouch and kneel for several minutes at a time while applying sensors to the client’s scalp.

  • Interact physically with clients on a regular basis. This interaction includes:




          o Placing sensors directly on the client’s scalp.






          o Removing sensors from the client’s scalp.






          o Cleansing client’s scalp post-session.
