Certification Processor - 1st Shift

Design certification packages/statements based on customer requirements and compile data and documentation to satisfy those requirements. Expedite completion of certifications through contacts with other departments. Approve or hold shipments of product based on completion of certification requirements.

• Serve as backup for Lab Services Coordinator.
• Perform computer coding and data entry to maintain databases.
• Respond to customer and Sales Department requests for special certification amendments, status updates, etc.
• Set up testing requirements on job cards per customer requirements, print and proof documents in accordance with internal quality systems.
• Monitor, check and release in process items. Expedite resolution of testing, tracking and other problems as needed.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties in support of QA Department functions.

Solid PC and communication skills. Very experienced in Word and Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing quality control or other documentation for accuracy and completeness strongly preferred. Ability to read and identify critical reporting requirements of industrial and customer technical specifications.
• Ability to positively interact with customers and with all levels of the organization to resolve issues where tact and assertiveness are required.
• Must be deadline oriented and extremely thorough.
• QA background and familiarity with metallurgical terms strongly preferred.
