The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Office of Inspector General in Helena.
The Certification Bureau of the Office of Inspector General is responsible for surveying and certification of health care facilities in Montana to assure compliance with federal regulations. Compliance with federal regulations allows the facilities to bill Medicare and Medicaid for services rendered.
This position provides program support to the Certification Bureau with federal survey reports, the certified nurse aid program, and nurse aide training programs. Responsibilities include processing data, letters, and reports based on surveys and information requests made to the Bureau regarding participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. This position works with the certification process for the nurse aide program in Montana which includes approving or denying new nurse aid applications and recertification applications, corresponding with applicants and other agencies, and reviewing training curriculums to ensure they meet federal mandates. This position also assists with nominating and tracking bureau staff for federal programs when necessary.

Meet minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Three years of job-related work experience (database management, use of office computer programs, and customer service in person and over the telephone).
Experience working with federal Medicare and Medicaid regulations and database management is preferred.
Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
