DUTIES:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Monitor patient’s vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen levels, during surgery.
- Adjust anesthesia levels as needed to maintain patient stability and manage pain.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans for each patient.
- Provide acute pain management services to post-operative patients.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient information and track anesthesia administration.
- Stay up to date with advancements in anesthesiology techniques and technologies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
EXPERIENCE:
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
- Experience in a variety of anesthesia settings including ASC.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation.
- Knowledge of home care practices related to anesthesia recovery.
- Experience administering injections and other forms of medication delivery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
