Job Description - Certified Automotive Service Technician



Bell-McCall Ford in Hamilton, MT is seeking a skilled Ford Certified Service Technician to join our service department. If you have a solid technician background, hands-on diagnostic experience, and Ford certification, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work at a family-owned dealership that takes care of its people. This is an on-site opportunity in Hamilton, MT.

What You'll Do



  • Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealership standards

  • Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components using Ford diagnostic tools and specialized equipment

  • Diagnose, service, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning

  • Notify Service Advisors of any additional repairs needed and supply accurate time estimates

  • Perform all warranty work in compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications


What We're Looking For



  • Ford certification or equivalent experience through the Ford Asset Program

  • 2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred

  • B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair

  • Strong mechanical ability and hands-on troubleshooting skills

  • Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools and equipment

  • Steady hands and solid hand-eye coordination

  • Ability to pick up new technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications quickly

  • Good communication skills and basic computer competency

  • Collaborative, team-first attitude with a drive to keep improving

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • High school diploma or equivalent
