Job Summary

We are a private pediatric dental office and we are seeking a qualified and caring Certified Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures, provide preventative dental care and treatment planing. The ideal candidate has a current license and at least one year of chairside experience. We are looking for a long-term employee that can grow with our amazing team, must love kids!

Responsibilities

Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

Charting

Entering treatment plans into Dentrix system

Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures

Assist dentist during procedures and exams

Coronal Polishing

Sealants

Nitrous Oxide monitoring

Qualifications

Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)

At least 1 year of previous experience as a chairside dental assistant

Strong computer and data entry skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Must love kids

CPR certification

Nitrous Oxide certification

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
