Job Summary
DSI is currently hiring Certified EMTs in Pine Hill, Alabama. In this role, you will help support the safety and well-being of our client, their employees, and the public by providing professional emergency medical assistance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide care within the scope of your EMT training and certification
- Assess situations and provide appropriate first aid and emergency medical assistance
- Help maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, visitors, and the public
- Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and other urgent concerns
- Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, employees, emergency responders, and the public
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly
- Participate in required training and follow DSI safety procedures and manuals
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must currently possess a minimum of an EMT Basic or higher rating(required)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation and means of communication
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
- Must pass all required background checks and drug screenings
