Certified Fitness Professional

StretchLab Spartanburg is seeking experienced health or fitness practitioners who have worked in the industry and know the body and how it moves.  Professionals who are passionate about helping others feel better and live life more fully.  And who know how to make and execute improvement programs.  We might be what you're looking for if you're good at what you do, but you struggle working for yourself.  At StretchLab, you're a W2 employee, so no self-employment taxes or quarterly tax payments to worry about.  You're also not required to advertise or find your own clients, we have a sales team for that!

StretchLab requires our stretch therapists to have an accredited license, certification, or degree before entering our training program where we teach you how to stretch.  We pay for the training, so we are interested in investing in individuals who want to grow with us.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele
• Ensure safety of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations

Qualifications:

• Love of fitness/health is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
• Experience working in a fitness/health environment providing hands-on training with clients is a BIG plus
• Fitness or health related certification, license, or degree is required, and it must be current

• Licensed Physical Therapist
• Licensed Massage Therapist
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants
• Licensed Occupational Therapists
• LPN / RN (sorry, but not CNA)
• Certified Athletic Trainer
• Certified Personal Trainer
• Certified Pilates, Yoga, or Dance Instructor
• Degreed in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human Biomechanics
• Other wellness/fitness certifications or degrees considered individually
