Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong communication skills, and experience in home health or long-term care settings.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure clients’ nutritional needs are met and provide meal assistance as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and report any changes in clients’ condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate care documentation and follow care plans

  
  


• 
  

  Offer companionship and engage clients, including those with dementia, in meaningful activities

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers

  
  


• 
  

  Promote client dignity, comfort, and independence

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Current New Jersey CHHA Certification (Required)

  
  


• 
  

  CPR and First Aid Certification (Required)

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 6 months of prior experience as a Certified Home Health Aide

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
