Position: Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Location: Pawnee Behavioral Health – Pawnee, Oklahoma
Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift or Overnight Shift
Compensation: Based on experience and certification

YOUR IMPACT AS A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECH (CMA or MAT)

We are seeking day and overnight staff with Oklahoma certification to administer medications and support client wellness in a recovery-focused environment. You will help maintain safety, structure, and support through direct care responsibilities—balancing medication administration, client monitoring, and facility flow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Medication Administration (CMA or MAT Required)

• Administer medications under licensed supervision


• Document all medication and UDS (urine drug screen) activity


• Monitor for side effects and communicate observations clearly


• Support scheduling and documentation of provider/telehealth appointments


• Educate clients as directed by nursing staff

Client Support

• Conduct routine safety checks and complete overnight rounds


• Maintain a secure and calming overnight environment


• Provide transportation assistance when needed


• De-escalate client distress using person-centered techniques


• Reinforce client expectations in a compassionate and respectful way

Facility and Administrative Support

• Perform reception tasks as needed


• Restock supplies and maintain facility readiness


• Provide backup coverage for other departments


• Keep accurate records and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Required: CMA or MAT certification in the state of Oklahoma


• High school diploma or GED


• Advanced CMA a plus!


• Strong communication skills and team orientation


• Tech-savvy enough for EMRs, email, and Microsoft tools


• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record


• First Aid/CPR (or able to obtain within 30 days)


• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in addiction, behavioral health, or healthcare
