Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our family medicine clinic. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our healthcare team and ensure a positive experience for our patients. This role involves a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to assist in the delivery of quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

- Take and record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information

- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment

- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers

- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality

- Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans and health maintenance

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care

This position can be negotiable with part-time or full-time hours.  Full time employees receive a comprehensive benefit package to include health, vision, and dental insurance.  401K-match.  Profit sharing opportunities and paid time off.

Requirements

- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA)

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
