Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Day Shift (5x8-Hour, 08:00 – 17:00)
Location: Adult Outpatient Clinic
Specialties: Neurology, Orthopedics, Surgery
Schedule: Monday – Friday, No block scheduling

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) to join our outpatient clinic team. This position is ideal for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role who is comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty clinic. Venipuncture is required—candidates without phlebotomy experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and prepare for exams
• Record and update patient histories, current medications, and allergies
• Collect specimens via venipuncture
• Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations
• Administer medications as directed
• Perform telephone triage* and make follow-up phone calls
• Assist with neurology, orthopedic, and surgical procedures including:
• Epidural steroidal injections
• Radiofrequency ablations
• Plasma-rich protein (PRP) injections

Skills & Qualifications:

• Required Certifications: BLS, CMA or RMA
• Preferred Skills: 12-lead ECG, telephone triage
• Required Skills:
• Administration of medications
• Rooming patients
• Venipuncture
• Specimen collection
• Professional communication and documentation skills

Work Environment:

• Busy adult outpatient clinic
• 60 patient visits per day
• Supportive interdisciplinary team, including in-house phlebotomy
• Exposure to spine, neuro, and orthopedic patient populations

Additional Information:

• Travel experience is required
• No weekend shifts, call, or floating required
• No pre-approved time off or block scheduling available

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
