Certified Medical Assistant is currently needed for our Plastic Surgery Practice located in East Setauket. This is a FULL TIME Position . M-F No Weekends! High volume. Must be a team player, flexible and have the ability to multitask. Attention to detail is key.
Experience working in a surgeon's office is required. Salary commensurate with experience. PTO, Other benefits etc. Please attach your resume/CV when applying.

Job Type: FULL TIME
Required experience:
- Certified Medical Assistant- 3 years minimum experience
- Experience in a Surgical practice preferred.
- Wound Care & Sterile Technique are a must!!
- Computer Skills Essential-iPad Experience in a medical/surgical office setting ++
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Provide medical administrative support, including managing patient intake and maintaining electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist in patient care, preparing patients for surgical and injectable procedures
- Support wound care management and ensure adherence to medical terminology and protocols.
- Ensuring rooms are fully stocked and turned over after each patient
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use
- Answer phones and field questions about medical issues
Qualifications
- BLS Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
