Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: Robbinsdale, MN
Salary: $22.23-$27.37/hour (based on experience)
Shift: 8-hour day shifts | 80 hours per 2-week pay period | Hours vary between 7:00 AM-4:30 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a busy outpatient clinic. This full-time CMA role involves assisting providers with patient care and workflow. Flexibility to float to Maple Grove Cancer Center may be required based on staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

• Room patients, administer injections, immunizations, and medications
• Perform lab specimen collection, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
• Assist with prescription refills and patient-provider communication
• Perform limited X-ray duties (if certified or willing to certify)

Clinic Support:

• Support front desk/check-in
• Order and stock clinical supplies
• Assist with prior authorizations

Compliance & Communication:

• Follow scope of practice and confidentiality standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic leadership
• Maintain patient and documentation accuracy

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED - Required
• Graduate of ABHES or CAAHEP-accredited MA program OR certified MA with credentialing exam -Required
• Previous clinical experience and phlebotomy skills -Required
• Current BLS Certification -Required
• Passed X-ray operators exam or willingness to take it -Required
• Strong multitasking, communication, and computer skills
