Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our busy medical practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of medical assistant experience and will play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform allergy skin testing (prick and intradermal) per provider orders

• Prepare and mix allergy immunotherapy vials in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines

• Administer allergy injections under provider supervision

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately

• Accurately document testing results, treatments, and patient responses in the EHR

• Educate patients on allergy treatment plans, injection schedules, and aftercare

• Maintain inventory of allergy supplies and ensure proper storage and labeling

• Follow infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines at all times

• Assist with general clinical duties including rooming patients, taking vitals, and phlebotomy (if applicable)

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA preferred)

• Minimum of 2 year's experience in medical assisting (required)

• Knowledge of allergy protocols, dosing schedules, and emergency response procedures

• Experience administering injections and monitoring for reactions

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

  $20.00-$21.00/hr. (based on experience)
