What you will be doing:

• Collect vitals and clinical data, prepare patients for exams, and document in the EMR.


• Assist with diagnostic tests, EKGs, injections, venipuncture, and routine labs.


• Prepare exam rooms, manage instruments, and support minor procedures.


• Communicate with patients to schedule appointments and relay care instructions.


• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and insurance documentation.


• Provide tele-triage support as needed, using judgment and template tools.


• Support administrative tasks including records, forms, and scanning.


• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team-based patient care.

Experience you will need:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.


• 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience preferred.


• Certification or registration as a CMA, CCMA, or RMA.


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.


• Strong patient communication and multitasking skills.


• Basic insurance knowledge, including referrals and prior authorizations.


• Experience with EMRs and ability to navigate clinical technology confidently.


• Ability to deliver age-appropriate care and support across patient populations.
