Position Overview
Cetechs is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business dedicated to supporting federal agencies with outstanding professional services. Come join our Team! We have an opening for Full-Time Dosimetrist onsite at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

• Hours/Schedule:7:00am – 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with radiation oncologist, and oncology team to accomplish the goals of the radiation therapy department effectively and efficiently

Assists with or performs the application of specific methods of dosimetry

Provides technical support for radiation protection procedures and qualitative machine calibrations of equipment
Enter approved treatment fields into the record and verify system, assuring all patient data is correctly input and transferred to treatment machine for patients

Qualifications

Required:

Board certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)
Bachelor’s degree and graduate from a accredited medical dosimetry program
ARRT (T) certification
Knowledge in areas of anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, and radiation safety
Subject to security clearance/background investigation
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
