What You’ll Do

• Administer routine medications with accuracy and care
• Monitor vital signs and perform blood glucose checks
• Document everything clearly and correctly—because details matter
• Watch for side effects and report changes to the Charge Nurse
• Keep the med cart clean, stocked, and ready to roll
• Show up on time and bring your best every shift

What You Bring

• Certified Medication Aide credentials (state-specific)
• Active CNA license
• Solid understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology
• Sharp attention to detail—especially with dosages and timing
• Respect for patient privacy and HIPAA compliance

Education

Graduate of a CMA program required.

Licenses/Certification

Valid certification as a CMA in the state of employment.

CNA License

Valid CPR certification

Experience

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
