Certified Medication Aide- CMA

The Landings of Canton Hills is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team in Canton, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for safely administering medications to residents, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing exceptional care and support to enhance the well-being of those we serve.

Shift

Monday - Friday & every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to established policies and procedures.


• Monitor and document residents' responses to medication and report any adverse effects.


• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and handling of medications.


• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, and their families regarding medication schedules and care plans.


• Assist with general resident care as needed to promote a safe and comfortable environment.


• Adhere to all federal, state, and local guidelines regarding medication administration and resident care.

Requirements

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification as required by the state of Georgia.


• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
